HUAGAO Electric (Hubei) Co., Ltd. was established in May 2016. The company was registered following the integration of Wuhan HUAGAO Innovation Electric Power Measurement & Control Co., Ltd. and Hubei Hong'an Gaohong Equity Investment Fund Co., Ltd. It specializes in the research, development and manufacturing of high-voltage test equipment and composite insulators.
The company’s core technical team previously engaged in high-voltage testing technology and related product development at Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute. In the 1990s, the team initiated the business that later developed into Huagao Electric and has continued to expand ever since.
The company currently has 120 employees, including more than 40 senior and intermediate technical professionals, with over 50% of the workforce holding university degrees or higher.
Huagao Electric (Hubei) Co., Ltd. focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of high-voltage test equipment and composite insulation products. It is a technology-oriented enterprise integrating research, design, manufacturing and sales.
Our products have been applied in power system research institutions, universities, and testing laboratories, and the company maintains technical exchanges and business cooperation with several research institutes and universities. The company continuously incorporates new developments in high-voltage power technology into product development and manufacturing.
Huagao Electric has obtained Quality Management System Certification, Environmental Management System Certification, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification.
The company has introduced advanced production equipment, testing instruments, and manufacturing processes from both domestic and international sources. It has established a complete production line for hollow composite insulators, including filament winding, machining, rubber compounding, and bonding processes.
In addition, the company operates chemical and physical laboratories, various testing instruments, and a high-voltage testing hall, ensuring reliable product development and validation.
Our products include hollow composite insulators, hollow and solid post composite insulators, and fiber optic insulators across multiple voltage levels. These products have obtained type test reports issued by accredited testing institutions, and their voltage ratings have extended to ±1100 kV UHV (Ultra High Voltage) applications.
In addition, the company develops and manufactures impulse voltage/current test systems, DC high-voltage generators, and electrical testing stations.
Among them, the G Series, HG Series, SGV Series, SGS Series, and SGD Series impulse voltage test systems are independently developed high-voltage testing equipment based on advanced technologies from similar international products.
