Huagao Electric (Hubei) Co., Ltd. was established in May 2016, integrating Wuhan Huagao Innovation Power Measurement and Control Co., Ltd. with Hubei Hong'an Gaohong Equity Investment Fund Co., Ltd. as a newly registered professional company for the production of high-voltage testing equipment and high-voltage composite insulators. Its predecessor was Wuhan High Voltage Electrical Research Institute (State Grid Electric Power Research Institute) Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute Aobo Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. The company is located in the hinterland of Wuhan Optics Valley, China; Wuhan Huagao Company currently has 120 employees, including more than 40 intermediate and senior technical personnel. More than 50% of the company's employees have a university or higher education level.

Huagao Electric (Hubei) Co., Ltd. specializes in the research and manufacturing of high-voltage testing equipment and high-voltage composite insulation products. It is a high-tech enterprise that integrates research and development, design, production, and sales. Since its establishment, the company has collaborated with multiple research institutions such as State Grid Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute, Tsinghua University, and Wuhan University of Technology to absorb the latest scientific research achievements in the high-voltage industry, apply them to the development and production of composite insulation products, and have passed quality management system certification, environmental management system certification, and occupational health and safety management system certification.

Huagao Electric (Hubei) Co., Ltd. has always adhered to the introduction of excellent production and testing equipment and new processes from home and abroad. Currently, it has established a complete hollow composite insulator production line from winding, machining, rubber refining to gluing processes, and has physical and chemical laboratories, various testing equipment, and ultra-high voltage testing halls to ensure the production of high-quality products.

The company's products include various voltage levels of hollow composite insulators, hollow and solid pillar composite insulators, and fiber optic insulators, and have obtained product qualification reports issued by authoritative institutions. Its voltage levels have been extended to the ± 1100kV ultra-high voltage field. Impulse (high) voltage/current testing equipment, DC generators, and power testing stations, among which the G series, HG series, SGV series, SGS series, and SGD series impulse voltage testing systems are independently developed and produced by Huagao Electric on the basis of international similar product technology, with excellent performance.
